Just as the daffodils had awoken and forged their seas of gold and the delicate blossom flowers had begun to stretch their petals open, winter returned once more. It felt like the plants shook and quivered alongside us. The promise of longer, lighter, warmer days had been thrown backwards and it felt confusing. Only a few days before had it been nothing-more-needed-than-a-jumper weather and now we were layering the jumpers and jackets back on again.
So we headed out to make the most of it; in hopes it is winter's last sigh and it this will be our final farewell until we meet again later this year. As much as we love the perks of winter with the cosiness, evenings in front of the fire and watching the snow fall, we're definitely ready for some brighter and more colourful days.
